Why I created the Curated Cape Town Guide.

I am Bernie Phillips, born and raised right here in the Mother City. I know firsthand that Cape Town is one of the most breathtaking, vibrant, and diverse places on earth. But I also know that planning a trip for the first time can feel overwhelming.

Between figuring out which suburb to stay in, avoiding overpriced tourist traps, navigating our notorious South-Easter wind, and keeping up with safety logistics, there is a lot to know before you land.
